CKB Solutions Pty Ltd was established in October 2016 by Craig Briggs, bringing over 25 years of dedicated experience in the Tasmanian hospitality industry to create a company truly responsive to local needs.
Our business was born from recognising a critical gap in the market – addressing the specific demands of Tasmania’s hospitality sector that existing suppliers weren’t meeting. This insight has guided our approach from day one, ensuring we deliver solutions that genuinely serve our clients’ needs.
Craig’s journey in hospitality began in the 1980s working in the kitchen of the Broad Arrow Café in Port Arthur. This foundation in tourism and frontline hospitality provided invaluable perspective on the industry’s practical demands.
His career path then led him to a local catering supplier, where he developed comprehensive product knowledge starting as a storeman before advancing to sales and service roles. These experiences cultivated the expertise that ultimately enabled Craig to specialize as a Kitchen Equipment Contractor (KEC).
This diverse background has equipped CKB Solutions with a unique combination of practical knowledge, technical understanding, and industry relationships – allowing us to confidently compete with any provider in the industry while maintaining our commitment to personalised Tasmanian service.
